Description

This "core" virtual workshop provides a unique appreciation for inside this key biomechanical segment. This workshop explores the role of the diaphragm and the pelvic floor using lecture, videos, and experiential virtual labs. Plus "core" connections to the digestive tract will be discussed that are relevant to low back pain, abdominal issues, incontinence, and other patient problems.

This workshop pairs well with Core Functional Testing and Training.

Objectives

By the completion of this course you will be able to correctly:

  1. Assess breathing patterns and provide techniques to facilitate optimal breathing.
  2. Identify positions and basic training to address pelvic floor dysfunction including exercises to avoid.
  3. Incorporate simple biofeedback techniques to enhance neuromuscular re-education.
  4. Describe how optimal postural alignment and breathing are facilitators.

No transfer, refund or credit will be given for cancellation 3 days or less before the CE event, or when handouts or other CE event materials are available electronically, including but not limited to emailed or downloadable pdf documents.

Rehab Connections reserves the right to cancel the CE event up to one week prior to the CE event. Rehab Connections will not be responsible for any charges incurred by the registrant due to the cancellation of the CE event, other than the CE event tuition.
